About TSLWrap

TSLWrap is a free, third-party web tool for designing Tesla wraps: preview designs on photoreal 3D models, generate patterns with AI, and export files that install through Tesla's Paint Shop.

What is TSLWrap?

TSLWrap is a browser-based design studio for Tesla wraps. It puts a photoreal 3D model of your exact car — 13 variants across Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X, Cybertruck and Cybercab — behind a wrap library, a community gallery, an AI pattern generator and a one-click Paint Shop export. Everything runs locally in your browser; there is no account, no upload of your data, and nothing to install.

What problem does it solve?

Choosing a wrap blind. Color chips, flat product photos and shop mock-ups never show how a design actually reads on your car's real body lines, in real lighting, from the angles you actually see. TSLWrap replaces guesswork with a live 3D preview on the exact variant you drive, so you can iterate for free until a design earns its place.

Which models are supported?

Thirteen vehicle variants: Model 3 (2024+ Highland, 2024+ Performance, pre-2024), Model Y (2025+ Juniper Premium/Standard, 2025+ Performance, the three-row Model Y L, pre-2025), Model S (2021+ and 2025 Plaid), Model X (2021+), Cybertruck and Cybercab.

Is it really free? Do I need to register?

Yes and no. TSLWrap is completely free — every design preview, AI generation and PNG download is unlimited and watermark-free, and no sign-up, account or payment is required for anything.

How do I create a design?

Three ways, all in the left panel of the studio: pick from the curated library (minimal, nature, anime, abstract and camo categories), upload your own PNG to preview it on the car, or describe an idea in the AI panel and generate original patterns in cyberpunk, anime, abstract or nature styles.

How do I download the file?

Press Export Design. You get a 1024×1024 square PNG, 8-bit sRGB, under 1 MB — exactly what Tesla Paint Shop accepts — named correctly for the USB Wraps folder. Install it via the Tesla mobile app (Creations → Wrap → Upload, app 4.59+) or from a USB drive, then apply it in Toybox → Paint Shop. The full steps are in the install guide.

How is this different from a physical vinyl wrap?

A vinyl wrap is physical film: a shop prints or cuts it and installs it on the car, permanently changing the exterior until it's removed. A Paint Shop wrap is digital: the design shows via the car's software, you can change or revert it in seconds. TSLWrap serves both — preview designs in 3D, export the PNG for Paint Shop, or hand the same artwork to a vinyl shop as your visual brief.

What is the relationship with Tesla's official Paint Shop?

None — and that's the point to be clear about. Paint Shop is Tesla's own Toybox feature that applies wrap images on the car. TSLWrap is an independent third-party design tool that makes files for that feature: it produces images meeting Tesla's published custom-wrap specification, following the folder conventions from Tesla's custom-wraps GitHub. TSLWrap is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Tesla, Inc., and "Tesla", "Model 3", "Model Y", "Cybertruck" and related names are trademarks of Tesla, Inc.
